Grave Tending Service

The Flower Shop now offers a local grave tending service to customers, wherever in the world they may be living. We are able to tend the grave of a loved-one on the customer’s behalf to ensure it is maintained to an acceptable standard. Our service will include cleaning of the headstone and surround, cutting grass and overgrown areas, removing litter, leaves and decayed flowers. We can, of course, provide new flowers, plants and vases to order, and replace these at agreed intervals. Visits can be single, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, 6-monthly or annually. Where required, our visits can be timed to mark a significant date, ie birthday, anniversary, Mothering Sunday etc. Following each visit we will provide a report of the work carried out, together with a photograph of the grave. These can be posted or emailed, as required. This service is currently only available for graves within our flower delivery area. Please click the link to the Grave Tending page for current prices. Please call or email for a written quotation based on your specific requirements.

Rainwater Harvesting

It is well known that tap water contains chemicals that, whilst making it safe for us to drink, is not always good for plants. We are pleased to announce that our flowers are now kept in natural rainwater, harvested from our roof. Thus our flowers do not take in any of the chemicals put into tap water. This is good for the environment too. All our sales of bouquets and arrangements include a supply of the appropriate flower food and advice on the correct care of your flowers. The combination of these factors should ensure your flowers retain their beauty even longer.
